EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
m/Oppenheim Associates is assisting National Energy & Utility Affordability Coalition (NEUAC) in the search for a new Executive Director. Reporting to the Board, the Executive Director (ED) leads the development and implementation of all core functions and activities of the organization. To meet the NEUAC mission the ED will develop operating and strategic plans; organize; and monitor all aspects of the NEUAC initiatives and activities. The ED will also identify and implement enhancements for ongoing and continuous improvement in the areas of staffing, membership, awareness, surveys, services, advocacy and the overall brand/image nationally, and lead all aspects of funding and fund development to provide stability and sustainability. The position will be located in the Washington, DC area.
NEUAC was formed in 2013 as a merger of the National Fuel Funds Network (NFFN) and the National Low Income Energy Consortium (NLIEC). The merger created a broad-based coalition of diverse organizations united behind a mission of heightening awareness of the energy needs of low-income energy consumers nationally, fostering public-private partnerships, and engaging in diverse, wide ranging other activities to deliver its mission. NEUAC aims to increase public awareness and understanding of the nature and magnitude of low-income energy problems among the various publics; formulate and advance low-income energy policy through compilation, analysis and dissemination of data and information; and promote the development of statewide and regional fuel funds networks.
