Vice President of Development
Hope Services is in the search for an ambitious fundraising professional to serve as Vice President of Development to develop and execute a robust contributed revenue program strategy. As part of the search process, we are reaching out to the community for suggestions and nominations.
Hope Services is Silicon Valley’s leading provider of services to people with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Founded more than 70 years ago, Hope improves the quality of life for more than 3,700 individuals and families annually in nine counties in the San Francisco Bay Area and provides a broad spectrum of services for individuals of all ages.
Hope’s operating budget for FY 22/23 is $58M, of which approximately 72% is derived from government funding and the remaining from social enterprises, contributed revenue, and other sources. Raising approximately $2M annually – the majority of which comes from Hope’s annual “In Concert With Hope” – the organization has ambitions to approach fundraising more strategically and systematically and to build a robust, scalable program. Reporting to the CEO – a skilled relationship builder and fundraiser – the VP serves as a key member of the leadership team and an active participant in strategic decisions affecting Hope Services. In collaboration with the CEO, the VP will design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances and building sustained individual and institutional philanthropic support.
