BGCLAH seeks a dynamic Chief Development Officer (CDO) who is passionately committed to bringing their programs to youth, and who will provide strategic leadership, planning and execution for all aspects of the organization’s fund development efforts. Reporting to the Executive Director at Club headquarters in San Pedro, the CDO will lead the Development team and have primary responsibility for the design, implementation and evaluation of strategies necessary to support BGCLAH’s mission and annual program needs.
True to its mission since 1937, BGCLAH helps young people, especially underserved youth, by providing a safe, nurturing environment where quality programs and services inspire its members to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Presently the Club serves more than 2,200 children per day at 14 sites, making them the largest private daily service provider to at-risk youth in the L.A. Harbor and South Bay area. Led by a dedicated Executive team, staff of 230 and Board of 30, BGCLAH has an annual operating budget of $6.8M and has received regional and national awards.
