We are pleased to announce that The Board of Directors of Avenidas appointed Amy Andonian to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer.
Most recently Amy was the Vice President of Home Care and Support Services at the Institute on Aging in San Francisco, and previously directed adult day care and caregiver support services for Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County. Additionally, she sits on the board of directors of the California Association for Adult Day Services and co-chairs the Leadership Council for the Aging Services Collaborative of Santa Clara County.
For more than 40 years, Avenidas has been creating innovative programs, providing resources and coordinating services for older adults and their families on the Mid-Peninsula. Serving more than 6,500 people a year, Avenidas is the go-to place for information, services and activities offered through a number of programs.
